I've posted about 3 of my older pieces and one that I've only recently begun. Good thing too; now I don't feel so much like dead weight on dA. And as for my first entry, in case some of you were wondering: Yes, I WAS being overly dramatic. Since I'm not dramatic or emotional at all in real life, I let it out over the internet, so if I sound like an idiot sometimes, that's usually why. The move is going a lot smoother than I figured, and soon I will be back...."home."

Funny that I put that in quotations now. I've been in NC for the better part of my life, and for much of that time I've wanted to go back to California, and now, right when I'm established and have a steady clique going, I have to go and half of me doesn't want to leave. I've got so many good friends out here it's almost like leaving a family. But alas, there's always the internet . And I don't plan on dropping out of contact with anyone.

Well, I'm done weeping and whining over my life. On to better things. I've recently picked up drawing, and even though I don't have what you would call a "natural hand" for it, I think I'm coming along fairly smoothly for a beginner. It helps to have a really good how-to book, as well. If I can learn to draw as good as I want to, then maybe I can finally fulfill my dream of creating my own graphic novel or manga. Until then, I better get back to my sketchpad, because I've got a LOT of work ahead of me if I want to get that good.
